I have been so honored to work with people + projects that have taught me skills in creative problem solving, writing, project management, relationship-building, and professional communication skills. Public Relations Fellow

I am currently a Summer Fellow at Small Girls PR on the consumer lifestyle team! I am currently working on the Jack in the Box, Linktree, and Northwestern Mutual accounts. I am honored to be apart of the fellowship program, which is based in the NYC office.

Field Development Intern

Interned for the jewelry and beauty company, Stella & Dot, during the summer of 2022. I gained project management, SMS campaign execution, and website management experience from the DTC brand.

  • Tracked performance of all communications and determine effectiveness based on defined targets

  • Created and maintained pages on Wordpress, ensuring all materials were up-to-date, engaging and easy to understand

  • Organized and planned events for virtual annual conference

Social Media Assistant

During spring semester of 2021, I worked part-time at the UNC School of Education as a social media assistant. During my time in this role, I gained valuable experience with the Adobe Suite and understanding social media analytics.

Public Relations Intern

Interned for the consumer tech team at Small Girls PR during the Spring 2021 semester. I gained experiencing pitching, maintaining relationships, and curating media lists on behalf of clients like Each & Every, Jackbox Games, and New Belgium Brewing.

  • Direct and manage social media accounts for a 501 © (3) nonprofit sustainability initiative, Carolina Thrift, that works to reduce needless waste in the Chapel Hill- Carrboro community.

  • Created strategized posts informing target audiences about Carolina Thrift

  • Produced physical promotional materials for 2019 annual sale, which raised over $10,000 towards sustainable initiatives across campus and had over 2,000 participants

  • Wrote a COVID-19 resources newsletter for the Carolina Thrift audience of more than 350 people

Development Committee Workshop Coordinator

In 2020-2021, in order to connect to campus during a time that all of classes were completely remote, I served as a workshop coordinator for the Campus Y. I spearheaded social justice oriented workshops that aided first-year students to get involved in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community.

  • Spearheaded social justice workshops targeted towards first-generation college students

Communications Volunteer: January-April 2020

Produced public relations tools for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools District through an APPLES-Service Learning course.

  • Effectively produced a media kit for the school district including news releases, fact sheets, direct mail letters and more

  • Dedicated over 30 service hours to the nonprofit

Campus Coordinator: January- April 2020

Led a team of six campus representatives to spread brand awareness of Rent the Runway at UNC-CH through events and social media posts

  • Acted as a liaison between representatives and Rent the Runway headquarters

  • Presented to on-campus groups with at least 30 members about the Rent the Runway college package

Digital Contributor: 2018-2019

Wrote two online articles a month for Coulture Magazine, a fashion and lifestyle magazine that challenges beauty standards by encouraging readers to accentuate their best features rather than conform with unrealistic societal expectations. Coulture Magazine delivers this message through the lens of UNC-Chapel Hill students.
